assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superin- <br />tendent of said City, together with a written statement of <br />ali. payments received upon the said assessment, an5 after <br />the full expiration of twenty (20) days from the date of s <br />warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made and filed <br />with the City Clerk of the said City of Santa Ana, a completel <br />list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, <br />which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of <br />the said City, now upon evidence shown this Board determines <br />that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the <br />total aggregate thereof being the sum of Forty-five Thousand <br />Seven Hundred Nine an~ seventy-four hundredths <br />Dollars, andthat assessments numbered 2V, 61, 166 and <br />and no others have since been paid, and that there now re- <br />mains unpaid the sum of Forty-five Thoussnd, Six Hundred sev- <br />enty-five and ni~ety-three hundredths ($45,675.93) Dollars <br />upon the assessments shown upon said list other than those <br />hereinabove last noted as having been paid. <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention <br />No. 1088 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, <br />passed the 1st day of October, 1923, for a complete descrlp- <br />tion of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid <br />assessments filed as above noted, for the assessments unpaid. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified iu <br /> the manner required by law to appear before the Board of Trus <br /> tees of the said City of Santa Ana, California, in the Coun- <br /> cil Chamber of the City Hall of said City, at the hour of <br /> 7:30 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 21st day of July, 1924, end <br /> show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security <br /> of the unpaid assessments shown On said Street Superluten- <br /> dent's list; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and <br /> form required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid <br /> assessments bearing interest at the rate of six (6%) per cent <br /> per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in <br /> the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", the last installment of <br /> which bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of <br /> July next succeeding nine (9) months from their date. <br /> <br /> And all interested persons having appeared before <br /> this Board of Trustees and having been given full opportunity <br /> to show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the secu- <br /> rity of the unpaid assessments shown on said list, and all <br /> objections presented having been heard end considered; <br /> <br /> NOW BE IT RESOLVED, th at the Board of Trustees <br /> does hereby find and determine that no cause has been shown <br /> why bonds should not be issued upon the security of said un- <br /> paid assessments, and does hereby overrule all objections <br /> <br /> <br />
