Vegel$ <br />Clerk Of the Uity of santa <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO <br />ASSESSMENT, APPROVING ASSESSM~ENT AND ORDERING TtTE <br />STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ATTACH WARRANT AND RECORD <br /> <br />No. 1529. <br /> <br /> WREREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br />Aha did, on the llth day of June, 192S, pass Resolution of <br />Intention No. 101Z, for the improvement of West Walnut Street; <br />and whereas, on the Z0th day of ~uly, 1924, the Superintendent <br /> <br />of Streets of said City filed <br />due for the work performed and <br />made under proceedings for the <br /> <br />an assessment to cover the sum <br />specified in the contract made <br />said improvement, which assess- <br /> <br />ment diagram was. approved by the Board of Trustees of said <br />City on the 21st day of July, 1924. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana has <br />given notice required by law in which notice August 18th,1924, <br />at the hour of V:ZO $'clock P.M. was fixed as the time, and <br />the Council Ohamber of the City Ball of said City es the place <br />where any and all persons interested in the said work might <br />be heard. <br /> <br /> AND WEEHEAS, no person aggrieved h~s filed with the <br />Board of Trustees a written objection to said assessment as <br />required by law; and whereas, at the time set for said hear- <br />ing on August 18th, 1924, there was not a quorum present and <br />no meeting was held or any action taken excepting to continue <br />the hearing in said meeting until the hour of ?:80 o'clock <br />P.M. of August 25th, 1924; and whereas, at aaid hour on bug- <br />ust 25th, 1924, at the time to which the hearing was continued <br />for hear%ng protests or objections the Board of Trustees of <br /> <br /> <br />
