RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> No. 1~2. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br /> Ana on the 28th day of July, 1924, passed its Resolution of <br /> Intention No. l~l~, to order the hereinafter described work <br /> to be done and.imProvement to be made on South Broadway, <br /> South Sycamore Street and Hussell Avenue in said City, which <br /> Resolution of Intention No. 1Z13 was ch ly and legally publist~ld <br /> twice in.the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily news- <br /> <br />.paper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, all <br /> aa required by law, as appears from the sfftdsvit of Edna L. <br /> I~errick, principal clerk of the printers and publishers of <br /> said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the <br /> office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana on the 61st day <br /> of July, 1924, and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHE~S, after the passage and ado~ ion of /aid <br /> Resolution of Intention No. 1313, the Street Superintendent <br /> of the City of Santa Aha conspicuously posted along the line <br /> of the contemplated work snd improvement, at not more than <br /> three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 22 in all, <br /> notices of the passage of said l~esolution of Intention, headed <br /> <br /> NOTICE OF IMPROV~T, in manner, form and substance ss pro- <br /> vided by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district, <br /> also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of <br /> the open streets and alleys within such district, not more <br /> than t~ree hundred (300) feet in distance apart on each street; <br /> and did post on each street at least 3 notices; and on said <br /> streets 22 notices; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br />Santa Aha commenced to post said notices on the 28th day of <br />July, 1924, and fully completed the posting thereof on the <br />2nd day of Aug., 1924, more than ten days before the day set <br />for hearing protests or objections co the proposed work and <br />improvement, all as appears by the affidavit of ~. G. Knox, <br />Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, filed in the <br />office of the Clerk of said City on the 2 day of August, 1924, <br />and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHERF~S, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br />Aha was duly in regular session at the Council Cl~mber there- <br />of at the hour of V:ZO o'clock P.~. of Monday, the 25th day <br />August, 1924, being the day, hour and place named in the Reso- <br />lution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where <br />any and all persons having any obJectlou to the proposed work <br />or improvement might appear before the Board of Trustees and <br />show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried <br />out in accordance with laid Resolution of Intention; and <br /> <br /> <br />
