Continuation of Resolution Orderir~g Work No. 1333 Pairlawn Street and Daisy Avenue. WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the city of Santa Aha commenced to post said notices on the 26th day of July, 1924, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 26th day of July, i 1924, more than ten days before tke day set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed work and impr~ement, all as appears by the affidavit of W. G. Knox, Street Superintendent of the city of Sent~ Ana, filed in the office of tlc Clerk of said city on the 28th day of July, 1924, and now on fi~e there- in; and WNEHEAS, the Bce rd of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha had fixed the 18th day of August, 1924, at the hour of ~:Z0 o'clock P. ~., and the Council Chamber of s~id Board of Trustees same being the day, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed public work or improvement might appear before the Board of Trustees and show cause why said oroposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with s~id Resolution of Intention; and whereas, st the time set for said hearing on August 18th, 1924, there was not quorum present and no meeting was held or ~ny action taken excepting to continue the hearing in said meeting until the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. M. on August 25th, 1924; and, whereas, at said hour on August 25th, 1924, at the time to which the hear- ing was continued for hesrin~ protests or objections the Board of Trustees proceeded to hear the same; and WHEREAS, all protesta or objections presented having been dlspoaed of, overruled and denied in time, manner and form as required by law, ~nd the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha Having now acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement, it is hereby:- RESOLV~_ID: that the public interest and convenience requires the ~rk hereinafter described, and the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana hereby orders the following work to be done and ir~provement made in the cit~ of Santa Aha, as follows: the North line Of.Trac{ No..~.~et to, ll~tice i~ '~er~by ~l~n[ tilat s~rial The expense of said work or Improvement; is by the said Hesolution of Intention made char~able upon a district, which said district is described in and by the said Resolution, and is shown by a plat or map thereof on file in the cf fica of the City Engineer.
