A RESOLUTION OF THE B(~RDOF TRUSTEES OF T~E CITY 0F SANTA ANA, CA3~IF~NIA, DECLARING THEIR INT~TION TO ORDER THE PAVING AND OTHERWISE IMPROVING OF A PORTION OF VALENCIA STP~ET, ALL ~ THIN T}IE SAID ~ TY; DECIARING T}~ SAID WORK OR IMPHOVEMENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL 0R 0HDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECIA RING THE DR TRICT TO BE BENEFITED BY SAID WoRK AND IMPHOVE~ENT, AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY Tt~ COSTS AND EXPENSES THE~0F; DETERMINING TttAT BONDS SF~LL BE ISSUED TO REPItESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPOSES; A~D FIXING T}~E TI~E AND PLACEEDR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WOHK OH I~P~OVE~TENT OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE D~ TRICT TO BE ASSESSED 0R BOTH. The Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, pursuamt to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, end the Improve- ment Bond Act of 1915, and the amendments to s~id Acts, do re- solve as follows: SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience re- quire and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, C~ ifornia, to order the construction of the following described work and improvement within said city, in on and along the roadway of Valencia Street from the North line of Edgewood Road to a line parallel to and one thousand feet northerly from the North line of Edgewood Road, and where any street nr alley intersects or terminates in any of the above described portion of street in, on and along which work is to be done or improvement is to be made, then beyond the cum line and across the sidewalk reservations to the property lines there- of. The work and improvement on the above described portion of roadway is more particularly described as follows: 1. i~e grading and paving of Valencia Street with a five (5) inch Portland Cement Concrete pavement with belt finish wearing surfac~. 2% The construction of cement sidewalk on portions of the above described street where the same have not already been constructed, in accordance with the plans, profiles, cross- s6ctions and specifications hereinafter referred to. 3. The construction of cement curb on portions of the above described street where tl~e same have not already been constructed, in accordance with the plans, profiles, cross- sections add specifications hereinafter referred to. PLANS, PROFILES, CROSS-SECTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS. SECTION II. All of the foregoing ~ rk is fully set forth delineated and described on plans, profiles and cross-sections on file in the office of tle City Eh~gineer, end sm cifications for Assessment District No. 84, on file in the office of the City Clerk which plans, profiles, cross-sections and specifica~ tions were adopted by Resolution No. 138V, on the 8th day of September, 1924, by the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, as the plans, profiles, cross-sections and specifica- tions for said work and improvement.
