that there now remains unpaid the sum of Two Hundred Seventy- <br /> two and 20/100ths ($2V2.20) Dollars upon the assessnents <br /> shown upon the said list. <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to Hesolution of Intention <br /> No. 1187 of the Board of Trustee, of the City of Santa Ans, <br /> passed the 4th day of February, 1924, for a complete descrip- <br /> tion of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid <br /> assessmen~ filed as above noted, for the assessments unpaid. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in <br />the manner required by law to appear ~efore the Bosrd of Trus- <br />tees of the said City of Santa Ana, Celifornla, in the Council <br />Chamber of the City Hall of said City, st the hour of 7:30 <br />o'clock P.M. of Monday the 2Vth day of October, 1924, and show <br />cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the <br />unpaid assessments shown on said Street Superintendent's list; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEP~EA$, notice was duly given in the manner and <br />form required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid <br />assessments bearing ihterest st the rate of six (6%) per cent <br />per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in <br />the "Improvement Bond Act of 1918", the last instal lment of <br />which bonds shall m~ture nine (9) years from the 2nd day of <br />July next succeeding ten (10} months from their date. <br /> <br /> And all interested persons having appeared before <br /> and <br />th~ Board of Trustees/having been given full opportunity to <br /> <br />show cause why bonds ~ould not be issued upon the security <br />of the unpaid assessments shown on said list, and all objec- <br />tions presented having been Beard and considered; <br /> <br /> NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees does <br />hereby find and determine that no cause has been shown why <br />bonds should not be issued upon the security of said unpaid <br />assessments, end does hereby overrule all objections thereto, <br />and does hereby direct the issuance of said bonds, and further <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOL¥~ A~ FOLLOWS, that bonds shall be <br />issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments to said <br />amount of Two Hundred Seventy-two snd 20/100ths ($272.20) <br />Dollars. <br /> <br /> The said bonds shall be ten (10) in number, and <br />shall be dated October 2Vth, 1924, ~nd bear interest at the <br />rate of six (6%) per cent per annum, snd the denomination <br />of said bonds, and the dates of the respective maturities <br /> <br />thereof shall ~e as follows: <br /> <br />Series Bond ho.
