108 RESOI.UTION OF INTENTION NO. 1395. A RE~OLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEE~ OF TEE CITY OF SANTA AHA, CALIFORNIA, DECI.ARINO THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING AND OTHERWISE I~'~PROVING OF A PORTION OF NORTH AND SOUTH VAN NESS AVENUE IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA; DECLARING THE SAID ¥.OHK OR IMPROVEI~ENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PE~BLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED BY SAID WORK AND I~[PROVE~ENT, AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY T}~E C~TS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETER~INING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO F~PRESENT SAID COSTS AND ]EXPENSES; AND FIXING THE TI~;E AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR I~'PRQVE~EmNT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED OR BOTH. The Board of Trustees of the City of S~nta Aha, C~lifornia, pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, and the rmprOv~e/ment Bond Act of 1915, and amendments to said Acts, do resolve as follows: SECTION I. That the public interest and convenience require, ~nd.~t is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of S~nta ~na, California, to order the construction of the following described work ~nd improvement, mil within the said City, to-wit: In, on and along the roadway of the following des- cribed portions of street in the said City: (~) South V~n Ness Avenue from the North line of First Street to the South line of First Street. (b) North V,n Ness Avenue from the North line of First Street to the South l~me of Fourth Street. Aod where any street or alley intersects or termi- nates in ~ny ~ the above described portions of street, in, on ~nd along which work is to be done or improver, ent is to be made, then beyond the curb line an4 across the sidewalk reservations to the property lines thereof. The work and improvement on the above described portions of raodways is more particularly descr~ ed ss follows: 1. Tbs regrading of said described portions of street end the construction on the subgrade of ~ four (4) inch ~sph~ltic concrete base, overlaid w~h s two (2) inch asphaltic concrete we,r~ng surf,ce. 2. The g~ding of driveways to a subgrade five inches below the f~nished ~rade, end the construction thereon of ~ three and one-half (~) inch asph~ltic concrete base overlaid with a one and one-half ( ~ lw) inch asphaltic concrete wee~iMg surface.
