The Clerk of the City of Santa Ans is hereby direc- ted to post a notice of said work, together with the plans and specifications therefor conspic$ously for five days on or near the Council Chamber door of the Board of Trustees, invi- ting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work ordered; he is also directed to publish twice a notice inviting such pro- posals, and referring to the specifications posted or on file, in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily news- paper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose.
