All pipes and specials must be free from injurious cracks. <br />checks, blisters, broken rims or other imperfections. Any fire crack which is <br /> more thsn one-sixteenth (1-16) of an inch wide at its widest point. <br /> ($) Lumps, blisters or flakes on the interior surface of a pipe or special. <br /> (4) Two or more breaks in the socket or spigot, unless they can be placed in the <br /> upper hal{ of the sewer. <br /> (5) When the bore or socket of the pipe varies /rom a true circle more than three <br /> (3) per cent of its nominal diameter. <br /> (6) When a pipe or special designed to be straight exhlbii~ a deviation from a straight <br /> llne of more than three-eights (~) of Im inch. <br /> (?) A piece broken from the spigot end deeller tha, the socket or longer lhan <br /> third of the diameter ot the pipe. <br /> (8) A piece broken from the bell end, if the fracture extends into the body of the <br /> pipe, or is Iongnr than one-Shied of the diameter of the pipe. <br /> · I be furnished with each branch pipe and consist o! n disk of <br /> (1) CAPS.
