Herrick, principal clerk of the la"inters and pub- lishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the Cl~ o~ Santa Ana, on the 28th day of March, 1925, and is now on file therein; and W~EREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana commenced to post the notices hereinbefore re- ferred to on the 6th day of March, 1925, and fully completed the posting thereo~ on the 6th day of March, 1925, more than ten days before the day set for hearing protests or bbJee~ tions to the proposed work or improvement, all as appears by the a2fidavit of Nat H. Neff, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on the 10th day of ~ch., 1925, and now on file therein; and WHEREAS, the 6th day of April, 1925, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.~., and the Council C~mber ef the Board of T~ustees of the City of Santa Aha, was the day, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Public Work, when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed ~ublic work or improvement might appear before the Board of T~ustees and show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention; and whereas, all protests or objections presented having been disposed of, overruled and denied in time, manner and form as required by law, and the Bo srd of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana having now acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement, it is hereby: RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that the public interest and convenience requires the work hereinafter described, and the ~oard of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana hereby orders the fo'llowing work to be done and improvement made in the City of Santa Ana as follows: That certaA~ atreets and alleys in said City of Santa Ana be vacated and abandoned as follows: All that part of said S~ewn Street lying Easterly of the Northeastern line of Santiago Avenue and Westerly of a line that intersects the South line of Brown Street 365.25 feet Easterly of the Southeast corner of Brown Street and Santiago Avenue, and ~ntersects the North line of Brown Street 400. feet Easterly of the Northeast corner of Brown Street and Santiago ~venue. Excepting therefrom that portion lying between two lines running Northerly and SoUtherly and which are parallel to each other and forty (40) feet apart. The Western line of said parallel lines intersects the South
