and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to
<br />the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written
<br />statement of all payments received upon the s aid assessment,
<br />and after the full expiration of twenty (20) days from the date
<br />of said warrant, the Street Superintendent duly made and filed
<br />with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Ana, a complete list
<br />of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list
<br />is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City,
<br />now upon evidence shovm this Board determines that the assess-
<br />ments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate
<br />thereof being the sum of Seventeen Thousand, Seven Hundred
<br />Twenty-two and ?5/lO0ths ($17,V22.V5) Dollars, and that assess-
<br />ments numbered l, 72, 89, 90, and 36, aggregating the sum of
<br />Four Thousand, Nine Hundred Fifty-six and 32/100tbs ($4,956.32)
<br />Dollars have since been paid, and that there now remains unpaid
<br />the sum of Twelve Thousand, Seven Hundred Sixth-six and 43/100ths
<br />($12,V66.43) Dollars upon the assessments shown upon said list.

<br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No.
<br />1401 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, passes
<br />on the 22nd day of December, 1924, for a complete description of
<br />the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments
<br />filed as above noted, for the assessments unpaid.

<br /> &ND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the
<br />manner required by law to appear before the Board of Trustees of
<br />the said City of Santa Ana, California~ in the Council Chamber of
<br />the City Hall of said City, at the hour of 7:30 otcl$ck P.M. of
<br />Monday, the 13th day of July, 1925, and show cause why bonds
<br />should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments
<br />shown on said Street Super~ntendent's list; and whereas, at said
<br />hour on the 13th day ~ July, 19~5, there was not a quorum pre-
<br />sent of said Board of Trustees, and no action was taken other
<br />than to continue said hearing until the ~0th day of July, 19~5,
<br />at ~:30 o'clock P.M.; and

<br />~na was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereof
<br />at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 20th day of July,
<br />1925, being the day, hour and place to which said hearing was
<br />continued when and where any ~ersons wishing to appear, might
<br />so appear and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon
<br />the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said Street
<br />Superintendent's list; and

<br />required by law. that serial bon~s to represent unpaid assess-
<br />ments bearing interest at the rate of six (6~) per cent per
<br />annum will be issued hereunder in the manner p~ovlded in the
