returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together <br /> with a written statement of all payments received upon the sai~ <br /> assessment, and after the full expiration of twenty (20) days <br /> from the date of said warrant, the Street Superintendent duly <br /> made and filed with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Aha, <br /> a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assess. <br /> merit, whic~ list is now on file in the office of the City Cler~ <br /> of said City, now upon evidence shown this Board determines <br /> that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the <br /> total aggregate thereof being the sum of Eight Thousand Five <br /> Hundred Ninety-one and 05/100 ($8,591.08) Dollars, and that no <br /> assessments have since been paid, and that there now remains <br /> unpaid the sum of Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety-one and <br /> 05/100 ($8,891.05) Dollars upon the assessments shown upon sail <br /> list. <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention <br />No. 1496 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, <br />passed on the llth day of May, 1928, for a complete descriptior <br />of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assess- <br />ments filed as above noted, for the assessments unpaid. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the <br />manner required by law to appear before the Board of Trustees <br />of the said City of Santa Ana, California, in the Council Cham- <br />ber of the City Hall of said City, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock <br />P.M. of Monday, the 9th day of November, 1928, and show cause <br />why bonds should not be issued upon the securit~ of the unpaid <br />assessments shown on said Street Superintendent's list; and <br />whereas, at said hour on the 9th day of November, 1928, there <br />was not a quorum present of said Board of Trustees, and no ac- <br />tion was taken Other than to continue said hearing until the <br />16th day of November, 1928, at ~:30 o'clock P.M.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br />Aha was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereof <br />at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 16th day of <br />November, 1928, being the day, hour and place to which aald <br />hearing was continued when and where any persons wishing to <br />appear, might so appear and show cause why bonds should not be <br />issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on <br />said Street Super~ntendent's list; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, n~tice was duly given in the manner and for <br />required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid assess- <br />ments bearing interest at the rate of six (6%) per cent per <br />annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the <br />"Improvement Bond Act of 1918", the last installment of which <br />bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July, <br />next succeeding ten (lC) months from their date. <br /> <br /> And all interested persons having appeared before <br /> <br /> <br />
