returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written statement of all payments received upon the sai~ assessment, and after the full expiration of twenty (20) days from the date of said warrant, the Street Superintendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Aha, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assess. merit, whic~ list is now on file in the office of the City Cler~ of said City, now upon evidence shown this Board determines that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof being the sum of Eight Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-one and 05/100 ($8,591.08) Dollars, and that no assessments have since been paid, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety-one and 05/100 ($8,891.05) Dollars upon the assessments shown upon sail list. Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 1496 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, passed on the llth day of May, 1928, for a complete descriptior of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assess- ments filed as above noted, for the assessments unpaid. AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to appear before the Board of Trustees of the said City of Santa Ana, California, in the Council Cham- ber of the City Hall of said City, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 9th day of November, 1928, and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the securit~ of the unpaid assessments shown on said Street Superintendent's list; and whereas, at said hour on the 9th day of November, 1928, there was not a quorum present of said Board of Trustees, and no ac- tion was taken Other than to continue said hearing until the 16th day of November, 1928, at ~:30 o'clock P.M.; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 16th day of November, 1928, being the day, hour and place to which aald hearing was continued when and where any persons wishing to appear, might so appear and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said Street Super~ntendent's list; and WHEREAS, n~tice was duly given in the manner and for required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid assess- ments bearing interest at the rate of six (6%) per cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1918", the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July, next succeeding ten (lC) months from their date.
