RESOLUTION .~.0. 1818 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OObrNCiL 0FTHE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF ~TREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1721, DETERMINING THE ~6UNT OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTS, PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS, AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN ANNUAL SERIES: WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of filing lis of unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that the w~rant, assessment and diagram was recorded on the 28th day of July, 1927, for the w~k and improvement made by the Grifftth Company, under that certain contract awarded to them on the ~Oth day of March, 1927, upon Oxford Street, as set forth in Resolution of Intention No.~.l?21; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written statement of all payments received upon the said assessment; and after the full expiration of twenty (20 days from the date of said warrant, the said Street Super- intendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of the said City of Santa Ana, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file il the office of the City Clerk of the said City; now upon evidence shown, this Council determines that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate there being the sum of Five Thousand, Six Hundred Forty-nine and 30/100 Dollars ($8,649.30), and that assessment No. 12 for Three ~ud~ed Forty-four and 98/100 Dollars ($344.9~) has been paid since the filing of the list of unpaid assessments by the Street Bmperintendent, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Five Thousand Three Hundred F~r and 3~/10( ($8,304.3~), upon the assessments shown upon said Dollars, llst. Referanee is hereby made to Resolution of Intentio No. 1V21 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, passed on the ~lst day of January, 1~27, for a complete description of the work herein mentioned and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as above stated, for the assessment~ unpaid. AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to appear before the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, Califo~ia, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of s~id City at the hour of V:ZO o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 2~th day of August, 192~, and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the un- paid assessments shown on the said S~reet Superintendent's list; and
