RESOLUTION .~.0. 1818 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OObrNCiL 0FTHE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE <br /> OF ~TREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION <br /> OF INTENTION NO. 1721, DETERMINING THE ~6UNT OF <br /> UNPAID ASSESSMENTS, PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION <br /> OF SUCH BONDS, AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN <br /> ANNUAL SERIES: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of filing lis <br />of unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and form <br />required by law, that the w~rant, assessment and diagram <br />was recorded on the 28th day of July, 1927, for the w~k and <br />improvement made by the Grifftth Company, under that certain <br />contract awarded to them on the ~Oth day of March, 1927, <br />upon Oxford Street, as set forth in Resolution of Intention <br />No.~.l?21; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were <br />returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together <br />with a written statement of all payments received upon the <br />said assessment; and after the full expiration of twenty (20 <br />days from the date of said warrant, the said Street Super- <br />intendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of the <br />said City of Santa Ana, a complete list of all assessments <br />unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file il <br />the office of the City Clerk of the said City; now upon <br />evidence shown, this Council determines that the assessments <br />therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate there <br />being the sum of Five Thousand, Six Hundred Forty-nine and <br />30/100 Dollars ($8,649.30), and that assessment No. 12 for <br />Three ~ud~ed Forty-four and 98/100 Dollars ($344.9~) has <br />been paid since the filing of the list of unpaid assessments <br />by the Street Bmperintendent, and that there now remains <br />unpaid the sum of Five Thousand Three Hundred F~r and 3~/10( <br /> <br /> ($8,304.3~), upon the assessments shown upon said <br /> <br />Dollars, <br />llst. <br /> <br /> Referanee is hereby made to Resolution of Intentio <br />No. 1V21 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, <br />passed on the ~lst day of January, 1~27, for a complete <br />description of the work herein mentioned and to the list of <br />unpaid assessments filed as above stated, for the assessment~ <br />unpaid. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in <br />the manner required by law to appear before the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Aha, Califo~ia, in the Council Chamber <br />of the City Hall of s~id City at the hour of V:ZO o'clock <br />P.M. on Monday, the 2~th day of August, 192~, and show cause <br />why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the un- <br />paid assessments shown on the said S~reet Superintendent's <br />list; and <br /> <br /> <br />
