RESOLUTION ORDERING HEARIN¢~ UPON ALTERNATIVE PROPOSALS. NO. 1818. WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees, now the City Cour~cil, On the 2~Sth day of July, 19~27, passed its Resolution of Intention 1791, wherein it declared its intention to do the work and improve- ment therein set forth according to one of two kinds of materials, the plans and specifications for the doing of which wort~ according to such alternative kinds of materials having been theretofore adopted; AhD ¥/HEREAS, the City Council on the 29th day of August, ? 1927, in its Resolution Ordering Work determined theft such class or classes or kind or kinds of work shall be done as set forth in said Resolution of Intention No. 1~91, and invited proposals for the doing thereof with such alternative kinds of ~'aterials; AND Y~HEREA$, this being the time an8 place for the openln of proposals for said work and improvement with such alternative kinds of materials, and all bids or t'.roposals submitted having been r~gularly opened; IT I~ HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of 4ants Aha, that the 28th day of September, 1927, at the hour of V:~O o~clock P. ~i. in the Council Chamber of the City }fall of the City of bents Ana, be and the same is hereby £ixed as the time and place for hearing upon the proposals so received. The Clerk of the City of Santa Aha is he~'eby ~irectod to post a notice of said hearing conspicuously for five days on or near the Council Chamber door of said City Counc~l. He is also directed to publish t~.;ice a notice of said hearing in the f~anta ~.na Daily ~ening ]tegister, a daily ne~vspaper p~blished an~ c~rc~lsted i~ the City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose. That at such hearing any person interested shall have the right to appear before said City Council and be heard upon the question as to ~'~ich material shall be adopted for abe ~oin6 of wo~k, and as to which proposal shall be accepted. Reference is ~bereby made to Resolution of Intention 1791 of s~id city, declaring its intentioa to order said v,m,~.k to be done fo~· further particulars~ which Resolutio~ is on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa ~na. The expense of said work or improvement is by said Resolution of Intentio~ made chargeable upon a district, ~zhich's~id district is described f~n and by said Resolution and is sho~a~ by a plat or map thereof on file in the office of the City Engineer.
