RESOLUTION CONFIRMING RE-ASSESSMENT AND <br />ORDERING THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO <br />RECORD THE SAME. <br /> <br />NO. 1832 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br /> Ann did on the 31st day of January, 1927 pass Resolution of <br /> Intention No. 1721 for the i~provement of a portion of Oxford <br /> Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of October, 1927, the Streel <br />.Superintendent of said City filed a re-assessment covering <br /> <br /> all of the assessments secured by the bonds owned and held by <br /> the Grlffith Compan~ for said improvement, as directed and <br /> ordered by Resolution of said City Council; and <br /> <br /> %~{EREAS, the Clerk of the City of Santa Ann has give <br />notice as required by law for hearing upon said re-assessment <br />the date for which was fixed by said City Council, and in tht~ <br />notice October 24, 19~? at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. ~. was <br />fixed as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall <br />of said City as the place where a hearing upon said ~e-assess. <br />merit will be had; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, no objections to said re-assessment were <br /> filed or made at said hearing, and said City Council having <br /> prior to the passage of this Resolution determined that the <br /> assessments set forth in said re-assessment as presented is iz <br /> such manner as is mo st equitable to apportion to each lot, <br /> piece or parcel of land thereby benefited the amount of the <br /> actual benefits derived from said improvement; and the said <br /> City Council being now in regular session, it is hereby <br /> <br /> RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA: That said re-assessment as presented by said Street <br />Superintendent and heretofore approved by said City Council <br />be confirmed, and that the Street Superintendent be and he is <br />hereby directed to attach to said re-assessment a warrant in <br />the form and manner required by law, and shall record the same <br />in the office of said Street Superintendent, with a certtficat <br />at the end thereof by the City Clerk that it is the re-assess- <br />ment approved by the legislative body of said city. Said <br />Street Superintendent shell also note opposite the several <br />assessments in the original assessment that have been displace <br />by the reassessment, the fact that the re-assessment has been <br />made, giving its date, and shall credit upon such re-assess- <br />ment all payments theretofore made upon the original assessmen <br />or upon the bonds issued to ~epresent the same, together with <br />interest on such payments at the rate of seven per cent per <br />annum from and after the date of such payments. <br /> <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was <br /> <br />d <br /> <br /> <br />
