RESOLUTION OF INTENTION No. 1845 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SET-BACK LINES UPON NORTH RAIN STREET, FROM FIRST STREET TO SIXTH STREET, AND SOUTH NAIN STREET FROM EDINGER STREET TO THE SOUTHERLY CITY LIMITS; AND FIXING THE TIS~ AND PLACE FOR t~AR- ING OBJECTIONS TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SAID SET- BACK LINES. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 813 of the City of Santa ~Ana prescribing the method of procedure for establishing set- back lines in the City of Santa Ana, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenienc~ requires, and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to establish set-back lines upon the following streets in said City of Santa Ana, between which and the respective street lines of said streets it shall be unlawful to erect any building or structure or to place an~ structure thereon, to-wit: North Main Street, from First Street to Sixth Street, on both sides of sai~ street, ten (10 feet outside of the present East and West lines respectively of said Street. South Msln Street from Edinger Street te the South- erly City Limits on both sides of said street, twelve (12) feet outside of the present East and West lines respectively of said street. Section 2. Notice is hereby given that on the 12th day of December, 1927, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of the said City of Santa Ana, any and all persons having any objections to the establishment of said set-back lines, or either of them, may appear before the City Council and show cause why an ordinance should not be passed and adopted establishing said set-back lines on the above mentioned streets in accordance with this Resolution. That all persens deslr~ng to so appear should file with the City Clerk of the C~ty of Santa Ana, before the hour herein set, a written protest against the establishment of said set back lines designated herein, or any pars thereof. And no other protests or objections will be co~- sldered. Section 3. The Santa Ans Daily Even~.ng Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated and of general cir- culation in the City of Santa Ana, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which this Resolution of Intention shall be published, and the City Council of said City is hereby direc- ted to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published by one insertion in said newspaper, which publication shall be at least ten (10) days before the time of said hearing.
