DESCRIPTION OF ASSESS~ENT DISTRICT Section 5. That the contemplated work and improve- ment hereinbefor~ mentioned is in the opinion of the City Council of more than local or ordinary public benefit, and the expense of said work and improvement is made chargeable upon the district hereinafter described, and said City Council does hereby declare said district to be the district benefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the cos ts and expenses thereof, which district is bounded and described as follows, to-wit: Located in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, and particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the sur- veyed center llne of First Street with the Sou- therly ~xtended West line of Lot 10, Block E, of Santa Aha Investment Company Tract No. i as per map thereof on file in Book 11, Page 39, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angele~ County, California; thence North and parallel to Grand Avenue to an intersection with the surveyed center line of Fourth Street; thence East along the surveyed center line of Fourth Street to a point 214 feet East of the East line of Grand Avenue as it exists South of Fourth Street; thence South and parallel to Grand Avenue, South of Fourth Street, to an intersection with the surveyed center line of First Street; thence West along the surveyed center line of First Street to the point of beginning. Notice is hereby given that on the 12th day of December,. 1927, at 7:30 o'clock P.~i. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City of Santa Ana any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work or improve- ment may appear before the said City Council and show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this Resolution. That all persons desiring to so appear should file with the City Clerk of the City of Santa Ana before the hour herein set a written protest against the said work or the assessment district proposed to be assessed, or both. PUBLICATION OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION Section 7. The Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated and of gener,1 circu- lation in the City of Santa Ana ie hereby designated as the newspaper in which this Resolution of Intention shall be pub- lished and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause this Resolution of Intention~to be published by two in- sertions in said newspaper, in the manner and form required b law. The City Council does not deem it advisable that the Clerk mail copies of the notice of improvement to owners or reputed owners, and he is not required to mail the same.
