RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK

<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on the
<br /> 14th day of November, 1927, passed its Resolution of Intention No.
<br /> 1843 to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improve-
<br /> ment to be made in, on and along Patton Street in said City, from
<br /> the North line of Tract No. ~§2, as per map thereof recorded in
<br /> Book 15, Pages 15 and 16 Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange Count
<br /> Callforn~a, to the existing water main at the South line of Fairvie~
<br /> Avenue, which Resolution of Intention No. 184~ was duly and legally
<br /> published twice in the Santa Aha D~ ly Evening Register, a d~ly
<br /> newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, ~l
<br /> as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of Mildred L.
<br /> Snyder, principal clerk of the printers and publishers of s~d
<br /> daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the office of
<br /> the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha, on the l?th day of November,
<br /> 192V; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution
<br /> of Intention No. 1843 the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa
<br /> Ana conspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated work
<br /> and improvement, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in
<br /> distance apart, and 12 in all, notices of the passage of said
<br /> Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manna
<br /> form and substance as required by law, and the work being chargeable
<br /> upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said notice
<br /> along' all of the open streets within such district at not more
<br /> than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from
<br /> the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who
<br /> personally pssted said notices of improvement; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa
<br /> Aha, commenced to post said- n~ices on the 2~rd day of November,
<br /> 1927, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 23rd day of
<br /> November, 192V, more than ten (10) days before the date set for
<br /> hearing protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement,
<br /> all as appears from the affidavit of C.L. Jenken, Street Superintende~
<br /> of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the office~of the Clerk of said
<br /> City on the 23rd day of November, 1927, and now on file therein;
<br /> and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha was
<br /> duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the
<br /> hour of ?:~0 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 5th day of December,
<br /> being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention
<br /> and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persons having
<br /> any obJectio~ to the proposed work or improvement may appear before
<br /> the City Council and show cause why said proposed work should
<br />
<br /> be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intenti~ No.
