RESOLUTION NO. 1851 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLU- TION OF INTENTION NO. lV21, DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF ~PAID ASSESSMENTS; PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN ANNUAL SERIES: WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of the filing of list of unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that the warrant, reassessment and diagram was recorded on the 2~th day of November, 192V, for the work and improvement made by the Griffith Company, under that certain c~mtract awarded to it on the 30th day of March, 192V, upon Oxford Street in said City from the East line of South Main Street to the West line of Maple Street, except such portions of said street as are already paved to the official grade, as set forth~in'Resolution of Intention No. 1721; and that said warrant, reassessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written state- ment of all payments received upon the said reassessment; and after the full expiration of thirty (30) days after t~ date of recording of said warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Ana, s complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said reassessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; now upon evidence shown, this City Council determines that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the t~al aggregate thereof being the sum of Five Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-Six and 92/100 Dollars ($5,396.92), and that no assessments have been paid since the filing of the list of unpaid assessments by the Street Superintendent, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Five Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-six and 92/100 Dollars ($5,396.92), upon the assessments shown~pon said list. Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. · 1721 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, passed on the 31st day of January, 1927, for a complete description of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as above stated for the assessments unpaid; and WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner · required by law to appear before the City Council in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City at the hour of V:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 5th day of December, 1927, and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assess- ments shown on the said Street Superintendent's list; and WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form required bY law, that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 19~$", the last installment of which bonds shall mature
