RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> <br /> NO. 1856 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, on the <br />14th day of N~vember, 1927, passed its Resolution of Intention No.1842 <br />to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvement to <br />be made in, on and along Flower Street, from Edinger Street to <br />Fairview Avenue; Garnsey Street from Edlnger Street to Fai~view <br />Avenue; Patton Street from Edinger Street to Fairview Avenue; Van <br />Ness Avenue from Edlnger Street to Fairview Avenue; Ross Street from <br />Edinger Street to Fairview Avenue; Birch Str~et from Borchard Avenue <br />to the North line of Tract No. g~52; Broadway from Borchard Avenue to <br />Fairview Avenue; Sycamore Street from Borchard Avenue to Russell <br />Avenue; Borchard Avenue from Flower Street to Main Street; Wilshire <br />Avenue from Flower Street to Main Street; Russell Avenue from Flower <br />Street to the East line of Tract No. 648; and Russell Avenue from the <br />West line of Tract No. 458 to Main Street, which Resolution of Intent- <br />ion No. 1842 was duly and legally published twice in the San~a Aha <br />Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in <br />the City of Santa Aha, all as required by law, as appears from the <br />affidavit of Mildred L. Snyder, principal clerk of the printers and <br />publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in <br />the Office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha, on the 17th day of <br />November, 1927; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution <br />of Intention No. 1842, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa <br />Aha conspicuously posted alone the line of the contemplated work and <br />improvement, at not more than three hundred (500) feet in distance <br />apart, and 159 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of <br />Intention, headed, NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form and <br />substance as required by law, and the work being chargeable upon a <br />district, also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all <br />of the open streets within such district at not more than three <br />hundred (500) feet in distance apart, as appears from the affidavit <br />of C. J. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personally posted <br /> <br /> said notices of improvement; and Aha, <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa <br /> <br /> commenced to post said notices on the 25rd day of November, 192V, and <br /> fully completed the posting thereof on the 25rd day of November, 1927 <br /> more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearing protests <br /> or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears <br /> from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City <br /> of Santa Ana, filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on the <br /> 25rd day of November, 1927, and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha was duly <br /> and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of <br /> 7:50 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 5th day of December, 192v, being the <br /> <br /> <br />
