RESOLUTIO~ OF AWARD NO. 1881 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City ~f Santa ana did, in opon session, at an adjourned regular meeting thereof, on the ~7th day of December, 1927, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work, under Resolution of Intention No. 1842, in the City of Santa Aha, to-wit: T. he furnishing, installation and construction of an ornamental lighting system on Fl~Jer Street from Edinger Street to Fairview Avenue; Garnsey Street from Ed~nger Street to Falrview Avenue; Patton Street from Edinger Street to Fa!rview Avenue; Van Ness Avenue from Edinger Street to Fairview Avenue; Ross Stroot from Edinger Street to Fa~rview Avenue; Birch Street from Borchard Avenue to the North line of Tract No. 35~; Broadway from Borchard Avenue to Wairvtew Avenue; Sycamore Street from Borchard Avenue to Russell Avenu Borchard Avenue from Flower Street to Main Street; Wilshi~e Avenue from Flower Street to Main Street; Russell Avenue from Flower Street to the East llne of Tract No. 648; and Eussell Avenue from the West line of Tract No. 488 to Main Street; to gether with the necessary appurtenances to said lighting system, including the installation of one hundred eighty-five (185) single light standards of the type and kind known as Marbeltte Lighting Standards, Design No. lllO-S, complete, including concrete foundations, anchor bolts, pot heads, wiring, lamps, globes, canopies, conduits, cables and other necessary items to complete the lighting system, including the making of necessary connections to the transf~mmem vault at the location indicated on the plans, and making all connections between standards, and the repairing of all curbs sidewalks, culverts or other i~provements cut or damaged dur- ing the construction, together with such other work and improvement as shown on the plans and specifications which shall be considered as incidental to the above described work and improvement. That for the installation of the hereinbefore described system a patented article will be used, and a license agreement betw~en the Marbelite Corporation of America, patent owner, and the City of Santa Ana, is now on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which said agreement reference is hereby made. RESOLVED: That the said City Council hereby reJect~ all of said proposals or bids except the next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said wc~k and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit:
