RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 18 ~2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SEWER SYSTEN AND OTHERWISE IMPROVING OF TOWNER STREET, FROM EIGHTH STREh~ TO TENTH STREET, DECLARING THE SAID WORK AND IMPROVE- MENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCt~L OR OKIINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSE THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAIl) COSTS AND EXPENSES; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WOE/{ OR I~IPROVEN~ENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as fo~lows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenlenc~ requires, and it is the intention of the City C~mc!l of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the const~ction of the following described work and improvement in said City, to-wits That Towner Street from the center line of Eighth Street to the center llne of Tenth Street, be improved by the excavation of trenches and furnishing and laying therein of Salt Glazed Vitrified Clay Pipe ~afn Sanitary Sewer, includln~ the connection to the existing sewer ~t the North line of Eighth Street, concrete manhole, concrete manhole with hand fluaher, "Y" branches and all necessary appurtenances thereto. all of such sizes and constructed to grades and locations as are particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned, excepting the from any of said work already done to the official grade. Together with such other work and improvement as are noted on the plans and specifications which shall t~e con- sidered as incidental to the above described work and improve- merit and no additional compensation shall be allowed therefor The work to be done as herein set forth shall include the furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials necessary for or appurtenant to the construction and completl of all work herein specified. Reference is hereby ~ade to a license agreement on file in the office of the City Clerk and executed by the prop officers of the General Sewer F!usher Company, permitting the use of a patented article made by the sai~ company and known as "The ~addox Sewer Flusher".
