HE~OL~IONNO. 19~3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENT- ION NO. 1801, DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESS- MENTS; PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN ANNUAL SERIES: WHEREAS, pumsuant to statute, notice of the filing of list of unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and foEn required by law, that the warrant, assessment and diagram was recorded on the 6th day of March, 1928, for the work and i?provement made by A. C. Rice, under that certain contract awarded to him on the ~6th day of September, 1927, upon portions of North Main Street, Third Street and Foumth Street, as set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 1801; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returne. to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a w~itten statement of all p~ments received upon the said assessment; and after the full expiration of thirty (30) days after the date of recording of said warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Ana, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; now upon evidence shown, this City Council determines that the as~essmen~ therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof bein the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Seventy and 23/100 Dollars ($2,570.~3), and that there has been paid since the filing of the list of unpaid assessments by the Street Superintendent the followin assessments, to-wit: A~sessment No. 15 for $198.0~; Assessment No. 19 for $118.8§; Assessment No. 20 for $77.24; Assessment No. 21 fom $99.04; ~hat there has been a partial payment made on Assessment No, V$ in the stun of $99,04, leaving a balance of $99.03 unpaid; and that there now remains unpaid the sum of One Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-seven and 99/100 Dollars ($1,977.99) upon the assessments shown upon said list. Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 1801 of the Board of ~ustees of the City of Santa Ana, passed on the 8th day of August, 1927, fOr a complete description of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as above stated for the assessments unpaid; and NH~REAS, interested persons were notified in the manner ~equlred by law to appear before the City Council in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 93rd day of April, 1928, and show cause, why bonds should not be issued upon the secumity of the unpaid assessmen shown on the Street Superintendent~s list; and WHEREAS, notice was auly given in the manner and fo~m required by law, that serial Oonds to ~epresent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per anntnn will be issue.
