RESOLUTI ON OF AWARD NO. 1949 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did, in open session, at a regular meeting thereof, on the 21st day of May, 1928, ~ltcly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work, under Resolution of Intention No. 1921, in the City of Santa Ana, to-wit That the portions of streets in the. City of Santa Ana, upon which work shall be done and improvements made, as hereinafter set forth, are upon and along those open public streets con~nonly known as Olive Street from the North line of First Street to the South line of Second Street; the West one- half of Olive Street, from the North line of Second Street to the South line of Third Street; Olive Street from the North line of Third Street to the North line of Fourth Street; Garnsey Street, from the North line of First Street to the South line of Fifth Street; and Pine Street from the ~Test line of Patton Street to the East line of Flower Street, excepting therefrom any of the said work already done to the official grade, and all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of said streets, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk shall be as follows: That the hereinbefore described portions of streets shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement from curb line to curb line, and where alleys intersect, the grading and paving shall extend beyond the curb lines to the extended property lines of said street, excepting therefrom any of the said work already done to the official grade and also excepting from the strcets hereinbefore mentioned, the East one-half of Olive Street between the North line of Second Street and the South line of Third Street, all of which is particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and spec- ifications hereinafter mentioned. That all driveways upon the hereinbefore described portions of streets shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement for their entire width, and from the street side of the curb to the street side of the sidewalks, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland Cement Concrete curbs upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of streets, where curbs do not now exist, or where replacements are to be made, all as part- icularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Po~tland Cement Concrete sidewalks upon and along all of the hereinbefore described portions of streets where sidewalks do not now exist, or where replacements are to be made, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specificatio~ hereinafter mentioned.
