RESOLUTION 0RD~RING WORK
<br /> NO. 1966.

<br /> WHERW~AS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana,
<br />on the 4th day of June, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention
<br />No. 1960, to order the hereinafter described work to be done end
<br />improvemeat to be made in, on and along portions of those open
<br />public streets -in said City, commonly known as French Street,
<br />Valencia Street ar~ Poinsettia Street,v~ich Resolution of Intention
<br />No. 1960 was duly and legally published twice in the Santa Ana Daily
<br />Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the
<br />City of Santa Aha, ell as required by law, as appears from the
<br />affidavit of W. Lee Mtllis, principal clerk of the printers and
<br />
<br />publishers of said daily newspaper,
<br />
<br />the Office of the Clerk
<br />June, 19~8; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS,

<br />end which affidavit was filed in
<br />of Santa Ana, on the 7th day of
<br />
<br />passage and adoption of said
<br />the Street Superintendent of the
<br />
<br /> City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the line of the
<br /> contemplated work and improvement, at not more than t~hree hundred
<br /> (300) feet in distance apart, mud 18 in all, notices of the passage
<br /> of said Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF IMPROV~NT, in
<br /> the manner, form and substance as required by law, and the work being
<br /> chargeable upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said
<br /> notice along all of the open streets within such district at not more
<br /> than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the
<br /> affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personally
<br /> posted said notices of improve~nt; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of
<br /> Santa Ana,commenced to post said notices on t~ 14th day of June,
<br /> 1928, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 14th day of June,
<br /> 1928, more than ten (lC) days before the date set for hearing protests
<br /> or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears
<br /> from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City
<br /> of Santa Ana, filed in the Office of the Clerk of said City on the
<br /> 14th day of June, 1928, and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of t~he City of Santa Ana
<br />was duly and regularly in session at the Council 'Chamber thereof at
<br />the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. ~. on Monday, the 25th day of June, 1928,
<br />being ~e time, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention
<br />and Notice of Improvemaat, v,~en and ~here any and all persons having
<br />any objection to the proposed work or improvem~t may appear before
<br />the City Council ~nd show cause why said proposed work should not be
<br />carried out in accordance wi th said Resolution of Intention No.1960;ar~
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all protests or objections presenhed having
<br />been disposed of, overruled and denied, in time, manner and f~m as
<br />required by law, and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana having
<br />acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed work done and improvement
<br />made;
