KESOLUTION ORDERING WORK

<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Santa Ana, on the 9th day
<br /> of July, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention, No. 19V$, to order the her~
<br /> inafter described work to be done and improvement to De made in, on and along
<br /> portions of those open public streets in said City, c~m~only known as and
<br /> called Halladay Street, between the South line of First Street and the North
<br /> line of McFadden Street and McFadden Street between the Southerly extended
<br /> Westerly line of Halladay Street and the Southerly extended Easterly line of
<br /> Halladay Street, which Resolution of Intention No. 19VS was duly and legally
<br /> published twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspa~r put
<br /> lished and circulated in the City of ~anta Ana, all as required by law, as
<br /> appears from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal clerk of the printers
<br /> and publishers of said daily newspa~ r, and which affidavit was filed in the
<br /> office of the Clerk of the City of ~anta Aha, on the 13th day of July, 1928;
<br /> and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after the passage ~nd adoption of said Resolution of
<br />Intention No. lg?6, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana con-
<br />spicuously posted along ~he line of the contemplated work and improvement, at
<br />not more than three h~red (300) feet in distance apart, and 55 in all,
<br />notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF
<br />IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form and substance as required by law, and the
<br />work being chargeable upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of
<br />said notice along all of the open streets within such district at not more
<br />than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the affidavit
<br />of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personally posted said
<br />notices of improvement; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of tb~ city of Santa Aha,
<br />comenced to post said notices on the 1Sth day of July, lg28, and fully
<br />completed the posting thereof on the 18th day of July, lg28, more than ten (10
<br />days before the date set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed
<br />work and improvement, all as appears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken,
<br />Street Superintendent of the Oity of Santa Ana, filed in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said City on the 18th day of July, 1928, and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha was c~ly and
<br />regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of ?:30
<br />o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 30th day of July, lggS, being the time, hour and
<br />place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, w~en
<br />and where any and all persons having any objection to the proposed work or
<br />improvement ~y appear before the City uouncil and show cause why said propose(
<br />work should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention
<br />No. lg?S; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented bmving been disposed
<br />of, overruled and denied, in time, manner and form as required by law, and
<br />the City Council of the Uity of Santa Ana having acquired Jurisdiction to
<br />
