RESOLUTION OF INTENTION _.NO, 1991 A RESOLUTION OF TltE CITY COUNCIL OF THE OITY OF SANTA ANA, DEOLARING T~.IR INTENTION TO ORDER T~E PAVING AND OTHERWISE IMPROVING OF ROSS STREET ~ETWEEN WASHINGTON AVENUE AND SEVENT~:ENTH STREET, AND ~IXTEENTH STREET BETWEEN ROSS ~TREET AND DURANT BTRk'~.T; DECLARING THE SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY FUBLIC BENEFIT, DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO ~E BENEFItteD TItEREBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EX~:NSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID CO~TS AND EXPENSES AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING 0~$JECTION$ TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR The City Council or tl%e Ui~y of -~anta Ana, pursuant to ~ne provislon~ of the Improvement Act of 1911 and the Improvement ~ond Act of 191~, and ~nendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience requires, and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the constr~ction of the roilowing work and improvement in ~aid Oity, t o-wit: That the portions of streets in the uizy of santa And upon which work shall ce done and improvements made as hereinafter ~et forth are upon and along those open public streets commonly known as and called Ross utreem~ between the center line or washington Avenue and the .~outherly line of '~eventeentn -~tree~, and the SoU~h half of Sixteenth ~treet, oe~ween ~he Ease line or Ross otreet and the center i~ne or uurant .~treet; excepting therefrom any of said work a-ready done to the official grade. 'that the work to De done and improvements to De made upon and along the hereinbefore described portions uf said streets in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office or ~he ulty ulerk shall De as foilows: Ross utreet Demween the center line of Washington Avenue and westerly extended oouther-y line of ~'ifteenth ~tmeet shall ~e graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement, rPom %he masterly curb line to a line drawn parallel to and distant fOrty-two %42; feet westerly from ~he Easterly line of said Ross Utreet, and w~ePe cross streets or alleys ineersect the grading and paving shall extend back or the cumb line to the ex~ended property lines of said street, and at uriveway iocati~as the g~adlng and paving shall ex=end ~ack of ~l~e curb line to the &treet side of u~e sIdewaik~ ~nd all as partic.u/arly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. Ross Street, between the Westerly extended Southerly line of Fifteenth Street and the Southerly line of ~eventeenth Street, excepting therefrmn the Easterly thirty (~3~) feet of said Ross Street, between the center line of Sixteenth Stmeet, and the Southerly line of Sevent~enth Street shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement, from cumb line to curb line, and where cross streets or alleys intersect the grading and paving shall extend back of the curb lines to the extended p~operty lines of said street, and at driveway locations the grading and laving shall extend back of the curb lines to the extended p~ope~ty lines of said street, and at driveway locations the grading and paving shall extend back of the curb lines
