RESOLUTION OF AW^RD NO. ~-009 I~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did, in open session, at a regular meeting thereof, on the 17th day of Sept- ember, 1928, publicly open, examine and declare all ~ealed proposals bids for doing the following work, under Resolution of Intention No.1990 in the City of Santa Ana, to-wit: That the portion of street in the City of Santa Aha upon which work shall be done and improvement made as hereinafter set forth is upon and along that open public street co~only knov~ as and called ~lm Avenue, between the center llne of Wright Stroet and a line drawn par- allel to and distant 28 feet Easterly from the Westerly line of Mabury Street, excepting therefrom any of said work already done to the officia~ grade. That the work to be done and improvement to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portion of street, in accordance with the plans and specifications.therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk shall be as follows: That the hereinbefore described portion of street shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement, from curb line to curb line and where cross streets intersect, the grading and paving shal~ extend back of the curb lines to the extended property lines of said street and at driveway locations, the grading and paving sh~ll extend ba, of the curb lines to the street side of.the sidewalk, and to the propert~ line, where no sidewalk is to be built, or now exists, all as particular~ indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications here- inafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland cement con- crete curbs upon and along the hereinbefore described portion of street, where curbs are shown on the plans to be built, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and s pecificati~s herein- after mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland cement c mucret~ sidewalks.upon and along the hereinbefore described p~rtion of street where sidewalks are sho~n on the plans to be built, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with thespians and specifications here- inafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of salt glazed vitrified cl~y pipe house connecting sewers, lald at such elevations and grades and at such locations as are indicated on the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for.and construction of Portland cement concret~ sewer manhole, complete with cast iron frame and cover, constructed at such location and grade as is indicated, on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of copper house service w~ter connections, including all connections, corporation cocks, fittings and all necessary appurtenances thereto installed on the herein. before described portion of said street, from the existing water main at right angles thereto, and e~tending to a point one foot back of the curb line unless otherwise indicated on the plans, and at such locations and depths as are particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of house service gas connections, including all necessary cocks, fittings and appurtenances thereto installed from the gas main at ri~t angles thereto and extend- ing to the property lines at such locations and depths as are particularl indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications here- inafter ~entioned Together with such other work or tmpr~ ements as are noted on the plans or specifications which shall be considered as incidental to the above described work and improvements, and no additional compensation shall be allowed therefor. The work to be done as herein s~t forth shall include the furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials necessary for or appurtenant to the construction and completion of all work herein specified.
