RESOLUTION S024 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1858; DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID AS?ESSMENTS, PRESCRIBING DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS; AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN ^I~UAL SERIES: VfHEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of filing of list of unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and fo~m ~equired by law, that the warrant, assessment and diagram was recorded on the 21st day of August, 1928, for the work and improvement made by Steele Finley, under that certain contract awarded to him on 23rd day of January, 1928, upon Franklin Street, from the North line of. Myrtle Street to the South line of First Street; and that said warrant, assessment and 'diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said 'City, together with a w~itten statement of all payments received upon the said assessment; and after the full expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of said warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of the said City of Santa A~la a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the said City; now upon evidence shown, this City Council determines that the assessments therein mentioned were then uupaid, the total aggregate thereof being the sum of Ten Thousand Eight Htmdred and Fotu' and 4V/lO0 Dollars ($10,804.4V), and that no assessments have been paid since the filing of the llst of unpaid assessments by the Street Superintendent, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Four and 4V/lO0 Dollars ($10,804.47) upon the assessments shown upon said list. Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 1858 of the City Co~cil of the City of Santa Ana, passed on the 19th day of December, l~2V for a complete description of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of un- paid assessments filed as above stated, for the assessments unpaid. And, WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to appear before the City Council of the said City of Santa ^ns, California, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City at the hou~ of 7:30 o~clock P.M. on Monday the 15th day of October, 1928, and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on the said Street Superintendent~s list; smd V~EREAS, notice was duly given, in the manner and fo~m reqttlred by law, that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per anntu~will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act cf 1915", the last installment of which bonds shal~ mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July, next succeeding ten months from their date, and all interested persons having appeared before this City Council, and having been given full opportunity to show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the secu~ity of the unpaid assessments shown on said list, and all ~obJections presented having been heard and considered; IT IS THEREFORE NOW BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANT^ ANA, DETERMINED, RESOLVED AND ORDERED AS FOLLO~: lO1
