RESOLUTION OVERRULING PRO~]STS OR OBJECTIONS TO <br />ASSESSMENT, APPROVING ASSESSMENT AND ORDERING THE <br />STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ATTACH WARRANT AND RECORD <br /> <br />NO. 2034 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, did on the 4th day <br />of June, 1928, pass Resolution of Intention No. 1960 for the improvement of <br />portions of French.Street, Valencia Street and Poinsettia Street; and whereas, on <br />the l?th~day of Setbber, 1928, the Superintendent of Streets of said City filed <br />an assessment to cover the sum due for the work performed and specified in the <br />contract made under proceedings for the said improvement, which assessment diagr~ <br />was approved by the City Council of said City on the 4th day of September, 1928. <br /> <br /> AND, ~KqEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha has given notice <br />required by law, in which Notice November 5th, 1928 at the hour of 7:30 o'clock <br />P.M. was fixed as the time, and the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City <br />as the place where any and all persons interested in the said work might be heard; <br />and whereas, no person aggrieved has filed with the City Council a written object- <br />ion to said assessment as required by law; and whereas, at the time set for hearin <br />protests or objections the City Council of said City proceeded to hear the same, <br />and all of said protests or objections to said assessment or the work done having <br />been heard, it is hereby; <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa k~a that all of the <br />said protests or objections against said assessment or the work done under said <br />proceedings be, and the same are hereby overruled and denied and the assessment <br />be affirmed, and that the Street Superintendent be, and he is hereby directed to <br />attach to said said assessment a warrant in the form and manner required by law, <br />and s~all record the same in the office of said Superintendent of Streets. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly <br />passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, at a regular meeting thereof <br />held on the 5th day of November, 1928, by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYE~S, TRUSTEES: W.J.Kelly, Homer C. <br /> F.L.Purinton. <br /> <br />NOES, TRUSTEES: None <br />ABSENT, TRUSTEES: J.L.McBrtde. <br /> <br />Chaney,.Stanley E.
