RESOLUTION NO. 2041 IN THE MATTER OF THE ACQUISITION AND IMP~OV~ENT DISTRICT NO. 1, OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. EESOLUTION ORDERING ISSUA]iCE OF ACQUISITION BONDS WHEREAS, on the 13th day of November, 1928, this City Council adopted a Resolutlo~ fixing the time and place for hearing upon the issuance of bo~s against the lands in the Assessment District in Acquisition and Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Santa Aha, for the ~rpose of obtaining the amount required to pay the inter- locutory Judgments in the action brought to co~demn the property sought to be taken, all costs and expenses chargeable to the plaintiff in said action an8 all incidental expenses incurred in the preceeding for the above named district, and for the ~rpose of furn- ishing an opportunity to all persons interested to be heard upon any of tbs matters upon whi~ they are given the right to be heard and present objections under Section $6 of the Ac$~isition and Improvement Act of 1925; and WHE]~EAS, on the 26th day of November, 19~8, at the hour of 7:30 o~clock P.~. at the Council Chamber of the City C~ncil of the City of Santa Aha, being the time and pSace so fixed, the said hearing was taken up and all oF said matters having been fully heard, and all objections made hsving been fully considered, and full, fair and impartial hearing having been accorded to all persons presenting written and oral objections or protests, and evidence having been received upon the said mattera; and WHMREAS, it appears from the affidavits on file with the Clerk of this City Council that notice of said hearing has been duly and regularly pubIished and posted as ordered and required by law; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha fin~s, determines and orders as follows, to-wit: 1. That notice of the day, hour and place of the hearing upon the issuance of bonds for the purposes above stated has been duly and regularly published and posted in the manner required by law. 9. That all of the acts, determinations and proceedings heretofore had and taken in the Matter of Acquisition and Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Santa An~ are regular and in all respects sufficient, and that all protests and objections regard- ing th~ same and to the issuance of said bonds are hereby overruled and denied. 3. That the public necessity and convenience require and it is hereby ordered that bonds of the said district shall be issued in the total sum of ~enty-four Thousand, Five Hundred Forty and 19/100 Dollars ($~4,~40.19), for the purposes above recited, and the City Treasurer of the City of Santa Ana is hereby ordered to issue bonds of the said district, designated "Series A", in the said aggregate principal sum, dated the dss this Resolution was adopted, all in the manner and form provided in the Acquisition and Improvement Act of 1998, and in further accordance with the provisions for such bonds contained in the Resolution of Intention adopted in the matter of said Acquisition and Improvement District by this City Council, formerly the~ Board of Trustees, on the 18th da of July, 1927. 4. That the Clerk of this City Council shall forthwith transmit to the said City Treasurer an attested copy of this Resolution and Order, together with an attested copy of said Resolution of Intention.
