RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK NO. ~042 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the City Council of the City of Santa Ana; on the 5th day of November, <br />1928, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 2033, to order the hereinafter described <br />work to be done and improvement to ~e made in, on and along portions of Garfield Street, <br />Sixth Street, Poinsettia Street, Second Street, Fourth Street, Fifth Street, Brown Streetj <br />Stafford Street, Vance Street and Wellington Avenue, which Resolution of Intention No. <br />2033 was duly and legally published twice in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a <br />daily newspaper D~blished and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, all as required by law <br /> <br />as appears from the affidavit of W. <br />publishers of said daily newspaper, <br />Clerk of the City of Santa Ana, on <br /> <br />Lee Nillis, principal clerk of the printers and <br />and which affidavit was filed in the office of the <br />the 9th day of November, 1928; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution of Intention No. <br />2033, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the <br />line of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (300) feet <br />in distance apart, and 61 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, <br />headed, NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form and substance as required by law, and <br />the work being chargeable upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said notic~ <br />along all of the open streets within such district at not more than three hundred (300) <br />feet in distance apart, as appears from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, said Street <br />Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of improvement; and <br /> <br /> M~EREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, commenced to post <br />said notices on the lSth day of November, 1928, and fully completed the posting thereof <br />on the 13th day of November, 1928, more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearin <br />protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears from the <br />affidavit of C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the <br /> <br />office of the Clerk of said City on <br />therein; and <br /> <br /> %'~REAS, the City Council <br /> <br />the 13th day of November, 1928, and now on file <br /> <br />of the City of Santa Ana was duly and regularly in <br /> <br />session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday~ the <br />26th day of November, 1928, being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution of <br />Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persons having any object <br />ion to the proposed work or improvement may appear before the City Council and show cause <br />why said proposed work should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of <br />Intention No. ~033; and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, all protests or objections presented having been disposed of, overrule8 <br />and denied, in time, manner and form as required by law, and the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Ana having acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed work done and improvement <br />made; <br /> <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the city of Santa Ana that the <br />public interest and convenience requires the work done and improvement made particularly <br />set fc~th and described in Resolution of Intention No. 2033, which is dated the 5th 8ay <br />of November, 1928, on file in the office of the Clerk of said City and hereby referred <br />to and made a part hereof, and the City Council of ~e City of Santa Ana here~y orders <br />the work to be done and improvement to be made in said City, as particularly set forth <br />and described in the said Resolution of Intenti.~n No. 2033 as aforesaid. <br /> <br /> That the e~pense of said work and improvement is by said Resolution of <br /> <br /> <br />
