RESOLUTION N0. 1916 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET I~PROVEM~NT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOL- UTION OF INTENTION' NO. 1787, DETERMINING THE ~..iO~IT OF ~PAID ASSESSMENTS; PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE !N ANNUAL S~RIES. %rHEEEAS, pursuant to statute, notice of the filing of list of unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and form re~ ired by laY;, that the warrant, assessment and diagram was recorded on the 21st day of February, 1928, for the work and improvement made by steele Finley, under that certain contract awarded to him on the 12th day of September, 1927, upon portions of Custer Street, Logan Street and Stafford Street, as set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 178V; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written statement of all payments received upon the said assessment; and after the ful? expiration of thirty (30) days after the date of recording of said warrant, the sai6 Street Su~rintend- ent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Aha, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; now upon evidence shove, this City Council determines that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof being the sum of Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-seven and 82/1OO Dollar: ($18,3VV.82), and that no assessments have been paid since the filing of the list of unpaid assessments by the Street Su~r- intendent, and that there ?~ow remainds unpaid the sum of Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-seven and 82/100 Dollar~ ($18,37V.82), upon the assessments, sho.~ upon said list. Reference is hereby made to R~solution of Intention No. 1V87 of the Boar~ of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, passed on the 18th day of July, 192V, for a complete descriptio~ of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assess- ments filed as above stated for the assessments unpaid; and V~IEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner reqdi~6~%~y law to appear before the City Council in the Cottuctl Chamber of the City Hall of said City at the hour of V:30 o~clock P.l~i. on L~onday, the 2nd day of April, 1928, and show cause, why bonds should not be issued upon the socurity of the unpaid assessments shown on the Street Superintendent. s WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the ms, net and forth required by law, that serial bonds to represent unpaid assess- ments bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per annUm Sill be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improve~ ment Bond Act of 1915", the last installment of which bonds
