RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK

<br /> ~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on the 14th day of July,
<br /> 1930, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 2215, to order the hereinafter described
<br /> work to be done and improvement to be made in, on and along Rose Avenue from the center
<br /> line of Fairview Avenue to the center line of Wilshire Avenue, which Resolution of
<br /> Intention No. 2215 was duly and legally published twice in the Santa Ana Daily Evening
<br /> Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, all as
<br /> required by law, as appears from the affidavit of W. Lee ~il]is, principal clerk of the
<br /> printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the
<br /> office of the Elerk of the City of Ssmta Ana, on the 18th day of July, 1930; and
<br />
<br /> ~fHEREAS, after the pass~ge and adoption of said Resolution of Intention No.
<br /> 2215, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the
<br /> line of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than t~ee hundred (300) feet
<br /> in distance apart, and 12 in all, n~tices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention
<br /> headed, NOTICE OF IMPROVENENT, in the manner, form and substance as required by law,
<br /> and the work being chargeable upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said
<br /> notice along all of the open streets within such district at not more than three hundre~
<br /> (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, said Street
<br /> Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of improvement; and

<br /> WW~.REAS~ the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, commenced to post
<br />notices on the 23rd day of July, 1930, and fully completed the posting thereof on the
<br />23rd day of July, 1930, more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearing protests
<br />or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears from the affidavit of
<br />C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, filed in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said City on the 25th day of July, 1930, and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS~ the City Cotuucil of the City of Santa Aha was duly and regularly in
<br />session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Nonday, the
<br />4th day of August, 1930, being the time, hou~ and place named in the Resolution of
<br />Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persons having any object
<br />ions to the proposed work or improvement may appea~before;the City Council and show
<br />cause why said proposed work should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolutio~
<br />of Intention No. 2215; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented having been disposed of,
<br />overruled and denied, in time, manner and form as required by law, and the City Council
<br />of the City of Santa Aha having acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed work done a~
<br />improvement made;
<br />
<br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that the
<br />public interest and convenience requires the work done and improvement made particularly
<br />set forth and described in Resolution of Intention Ne. 2215, which is dated the 14th day
<br />of July, 1930~ on file in the office of the Clerk of said City and hereby referred to a~
<br />made a part hereof, and the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby orders the work
<br />to be done and improvement to be made in said City, as particularly set forth and
<br />described in the said Resolution of Intention No. ~lS as aforesaid.

<br />That the expense of said work and improvement is by said Resolution of
<br />Intention made chargeable upon a district which said district is described in and by the
<br />
