IN THE MATTER OF ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 4~ OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA RESOLUTION NO. 2220, WHEREAS~ there has been filed with the Clerk of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana~ a Declaration that the work has been completed according to the contract therefor by the Griffith Company, a Corporation~ In Acquisition and Improvement District No. 4 of the City of Santa Ana, together with an itemized statement of the incidental expenses of the improvement and of the proceedings, inclusive of the estimated cost of publishing the notice of final hearing and of issuing the bonds to be issued for the improvements made, in the manner and form required by law; in which Declaration the aggregate of such items are stated, and also the amount due under the contract, and the total sum for which bonds of said district are claimed by the contractor clearly appears which Declaration and Statement is signed and verified by the Superintendent of Work and by the Contractor, as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, RESOLVED: That Monday, the 18th day of August, 1930, at 7:30 o~clock P.M. at the Council Chamber of the City Council, situated in the City Hall in the City of Santa Ana, California, is the day, hour and place hereby fixed by said City Council of a hearing for the purpose of determining whether or not the work and i~rove- ment shall be accepted a~ being completed, according to the contract, and for determinin the aggregate amount for which bonds shall be issued to the contractor, or his assigns~ therefor, and of furnishing an opportunity to all persons interested in any of the work or improvement done under the proceedings, or in any matter affecting said improvement and the assessment district therefor, and feeling aggrieved by any act or determination done or made in the said proceeding, or claiming that any of the previous acts or pro- ceedings are irregular, defective, erroneous or faulty, or claiming that the work or i~provement has not been perfo~ued according to the contract in a good and substantial manner, or claiming that any portion of the work or improvement for any reason was omitted or illegally included in the contract for the same, or having any objections to offer or any reason to advance why bonds should not be issued in the amount set forth in the Declaration and Statement on file, to appear before the Legislative Body, and by it be heard upon any of the above mentioned matters. The Clerk of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing in the manner and form required by law, by two insertions in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, California, and a cop[~ of said notice shall be posted and kept posted for at least two days on or near the Chamber Door pf said City Council. The date of thg first publication and that of such posting shall not be less than ten (10) days before the date in said notice specified for said hearing.
