RESOLUTION OF AWARD NO. 2228 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did, in open session, at a regular meeting thereof, on the 18th day of August, 1930, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work, unde Resolution of Intention No. 2215, in the City of Santa Aha, to-wit: That the portion of street in the City of Santa Aha upon which work shall be done and iN~provements made as hereinafter set forth shall be upon and along that open p~blic street co~uonly known as and called Rose Avenue from the center line of Fairview Avenue to the center line of Nilshire Avenue, excepting therefrom any portion of said street already improved to the official grade. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the. hereinabove described portion of street~ in accordance with the plans and specificat~ )ns therefor on file in the office of the City Engineer shall be as follows: T~e excavation for and construction upon Rose Avenue from a line drawn parallel to and distant 136.63 feet Southerly from the Southerly line of Fairview Avenue to the center line of ~ilshire Avenue of vitrified clay pipe main sanitary sewer, together with flush tank, mamholes and all other necessary appurtenances ~hereto, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction upon Rose Avenue from the Southerly line of Fairview Avenue to the Northerly line of ~ilshire Avenue of cast iron pipe water main, fire hydrant, valves and all other neces~ary appurtenances thereto, al~ as particularly indicated on and in ~ccordance with the plans and specifications he~'e- inafter mentioned. Together with such other work and improvements as are noted on the plans and specifications which shall be considered as incidental to the above described work and improvements, and no additional compensation shall be paid therefor. The work to be done as herein set forth shall include the ftu~nishing of all labor, equipment and materials necessary or appurtenant to the construction and completion of all work herein specified. RESOLVED: That the said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposal~ or bids except the next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: Daniel Dakovich, at the prices named in his bid as follows: Item No. 1. The trenching, furnishing and laying of six (6) inch diamete~ vitrified clay pipe main sewer, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material fo~~ the sum of Sixty-four cents ($.64) per linear Item No. ~. The e~cavation for and the construction of Standard Concrete Manholes complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and for the sum of Sixty Dollars ($60.00) each. Item No. 3. The excavation for and the construction of a Standard Concrete Flush Tank, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material for the sum of Ninety-five Dollars ($95.00) complete.
