<br />by a boundary line the extent of the territo~y.~to be included in Said proposed Assessmentl
<br />District, and which said Map shallgovern for all details as to th~ extent thereof.

<br /> The said City Council of the City of Santa Aua further declares that the follow
<br />lng lands included within said Assessment District and belonging to the City of Santa Aha
<br />or the Santa Ama Board of Education, as hereinafter specified, shall be omitted from the
<br />said district and from the levy amd collection of the special assessment taxes hereafter
<br />to be levied and collected to cover the expenses of the said acquisitions, and it is
<br />further determined that such lands are in use in the performance of a public function,
<br />which lands are particularly described as follows, to-wit:

<br /> Exception No. 1. All that portion of the Water Works Tract, as per map
<br /> thereof on file in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 9, page 27, Records of Orange County,
<br /> California, which lies within the Assessment District.
<br />
<br /> Exception No. 2. Ail that portion of the following described parcel of
<br /> land which lies within the Assessment District, viz: A parcel of land bounded on
<br /> the North by Eighth Street, on the West by Olive Street, on the South by Sixth
<br /> Street, and on the East by Flower Street.

<br /> Exception No. 3. LOt 9, Block "B", Chilton Tract, as per map thereof on
<br />file in Book 3~, page 93, Miscellaneous Records of LOs Angeles County, California.

<br /> Exception No. ~. Lots 1 and 10, Block "M", Ross Addition,~s Der map
<br />thereof on file in Book 3, pages 5~4 and 535, Miscellaneous Records of LOs Angeles
<br />County, California.

<br /> Exception No. 5. The East 50 feet of Lots 5, 6, 7 and the East 50 feet of
<br /> the North 81.30 feet of Lot 8, of Morse Villa Tract, as per map thereof on file in
<br /> Miscellaneous Maps, Book 3, page ~6, Records of Orange County, California.

<br /> Section 3. That in the Judgment of eai~ City Council varying benefits to be
<br />derived by different parcels of land lying within said district require and that there-
<br />fore said Assessment District shall be divided into two separate zones designated "Zone
<br />~ and "Zone B". Each of said zones, as proposed, is plainly shown upon the Map of
<br />said Assessment District on file in the office of the Clerk of this City Council, to whic]
<br />said Map reference is hereby made as to the boundaries thereof and all details concerning
<br />said zones.

<br /> The percentage, as proposed, Of the sum to be raised each year by the levy and
<br />collection of special assessment taxes in said district from the lands in each of said
<br />zones, for the payments on the principal and interest of the bonds to be issued to defray
<br />the expenses of the things herein proposed to be done are hereby determined to be as
