<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />0SFAN~TA~ANA, ~ALIFORNIA, RELATING TO TEE ISSUANCE
<br /> STitEET I~PROVE~ENT BONDS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION
<br />OF INTENTION N01 2146; D'~ERMINING THE AMOUNT OF
<br />UNPAID ASSEESMENTS; PRESCRIBING THE DENONINATION
<br />OF SUCH BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN
<br />ANNUAL SERIES ·

<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Statute, notice of the filing of list of unpaid assess-
<br /> ments was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that the warrant, assess-
<br /> ment and;diagramwas recorded on the 22nd day of July, 1950, for the work and improve-
<br /> ment made by George H. 0s*ald, under that certain contract awarded to h~m on the 30th
<br /> day of December, 1929, up6n portions of Flower Street, Nineteenth Street, Heliotrope
<br /> Drive, Santa Clara Avenuej Ross Street, Victoria Drive. Greenleaf Str .
<br /> Street and North Park Boulevard as set fo~ 4_ R ~. ..... eet. Seventeenth

<br /> of said City, together with a written statement of all payments received upon the said
<br /> assessment, and after the~ull expiration of thirty (80) days after the date of record-
<br /> ing of said warrant, the maid Street Superintendent duly made and filed with the City
<br /> Clerk of said City of Santa Aha, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the
<br /> said assessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
<br /> City; now upon evidence shown, this City Council determines that the assessments
<br /> therein mentioned were th~nunpaid; the total aggregate thereof being the sum of
<br /> Seventy-fou~ thousand Sev~n hundred eighty-two and 72/100 Dollars ($74,782.V2~, and
<br /> that there has been paid ~ince the filing of the list of unpaid assessments by the
<br /> Street Superintendent the'following assessments to-wit.

<br /> dollars ~($74,817.05) upon'the assessments shown upon said list.

<br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 2146 of the City
<br /> Council of the City of Santa Aha, passed on the 12th day of November, 192~ for a
<br /> complete description of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessment,
<br /> filed as above stated for'the assessment unpaid; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to
<br />appear before the City CoUncil in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City at
<br />the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, the 2nd day of Se tember 1930

<br />of said City Council held'on the 2nd day of September, 1950, said meeting was regularly
<br />adjourned by the Clerk to'the 8th day of September· 1980, at ?:~0 o~elock P.M. in the
<br />Council Chamber of the City Council, at which time said matter came.on regularly for
<br />hearing; and ~

<br /> WHEEEAS, notice 'was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that
<br />serial bonds to represent'unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of six per-
<br />cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond
<br />Act of 1915", the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine years from the 2nd
<br />day of July next succeedlhg ten (10) months from their date, and all interested persons
<br />having appeared before tILTs City Co-~ucil and having been given a full opportunity to
<br />show cause why bonds shou[d not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments
<br />shown on said list,and ali objections presented having been heard and considered.

<br /> IT IS THEREFORE ~0W BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DETERMINED,
<br />RESOLVED AND 0RDEHED AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br /> That no cause h~s been shown why bonds should not be issued upon the security
<br />of said unpaid assessment~, and does hereby overrule all objections thereof, and does
<br />hereby direct the issuanc~ of said bonds; and~urther.
<br />
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED ~S FOLLOWS: That bonds shall be issued upon the seourity of
<br />said .unpaid assessments to said amount of Seventy-four Thousandfive hundred seventeen
<br />and 5/100 dollars ($74,51~.05).
<br /> THat said bonds ~hall be eighty (80) in number and shall be dated September 8,
<br />1930, and bear interest at' the rate of six percent per annum, and the denomination of
<br />said bonds, and the date of respective maturity thereof shall be as follows:
