143 IN THE MATTER OF ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. l0t OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2266 The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions of the Acquisition and Improvement Act of 1925, as amended, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and necessity require, and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the follow. lng acquisitions for the Opening and widening of portions of Flower Street between Walnut Street and Seventeenth Street in the s aid City of Santa Ana, to-wit: The acquisition of the necessary parcels of land to widen Flower Street to a variable width from a point forty (40) feet south of the south line of First Street, to a point fo~rty (40) feet north of the north line of First Street, and being the follow- ing described parcels of land, to-wit: A portion of the following described parcel of land; the North 128 feet of the following described property; Beginning at a point on the North line of Lot i in Block "P" of the Hell Tract, as per map thereof recorded in Book 23, Page 28 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, said point being 1~.5 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; running thence West along the North line of Lots i and 2 in said Block "P" 50 feet; thence South 270 feet through said Lot 2 and Lot 23 to a point on the South line of said Lot 23 which is 12.92 feet West of the Southeast corner of said Lot 23; thence East along the South line of said Lot 2~ and Lot 24 of said Block "P" 50 feet to a point which is distant 12.92 feet West of the Southeamt corner of said Lot 24; thence North 270 feet to the place of beginning and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Northerly line of said Lot l, said point being distant 13.T1 feet Easterly from the Northwesterly corner thereof; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said Lot I to an intersection with the Westerly line of Flower Street; thence Southerly along the Westerly line of Flower Street 40.00 feet to a p~int; thence Northwesterly along a curve tangent to said Westerly line of Flower Street and whose radius is 67 feet a distance of 31.57 fcet to a point of compound curve; thence continuing Northwesterly along a curve whose radius is 17.23 feet a distance of 19.08 feet to the point of beginning. Also a portion of the following described parcel of land; Lot Six (6) in Block "K# of the Ross Addition, as per map thereof recorded in Book 3 Pages 834 and 535 of Miscellaneous Records of Los A~geles County, California and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 6; thence Northerly along the Westerly line thereof forty (40) feet to a point; thence Southeasterly along a curve tangent to said Westerly line a whose radius is 67 feet a distance of G1.57 feet to a point of compound curve; thence continuing Southeasterly along a curve whose radius is 17.72 feat a distance of 19.41 feet to its point of tangency with the Southerly li~e of said Lot 6; thence Westerly along the Southerly line of said Lot 6 to the point of beginning. The opening of Flower Street between Fifth Street and Sixth Street to a total width of sixty (60) feet, measured thirty (30) feet on each side of a line dravJn from the point of intersection of the center line of Fifth Street with the center line of Flower Street as it now exists South of Fifth Street, to a point on the center line of Sixth Street distant 309.60 foet Westerly from the intersection of the center lines of Sixth and Garnsey Streets. The widening of Flower Street to a total width of fifty-five (55) feet from Washington Avenue on the south to the center line of Fifteenth Street on the North, and being twenty-five (25) feet on the Easterly and thirty (30) feet on the Westerly side of the center line of Flower Street as established by a str~ight line dra~wn betwee~ the point of intersection of the center lines of Washington Avenue and Flower Street as it exists Southerly from Washington Avenue to the point of intersection of the cente lines of Seventeenth Street and Flower Street as it exists Northerly from Seventeenth Street, excepting therefrom any portion thereof which is now occupied by a public street. The widening of Flower Street to a total width of sixty (60) feet from the center line of Fifteenth Street on the South to Seventeenth Street on the North, being thirty (30) feet on each side of the center line of Flower Street, as establishe by a straight line drawn between the point of intersection of the center lines of Washington Avenue and Flower Street, as it exists Southerly from Washington Avenue, to the point of intersection of the center line of Seventeenth Stroet and Flower Street, as it exists Northerly from Seventeenth Street, except~mg therefrom any portion thereof which is now occupied by a public street. That the property necessary to be taken for the acquisition, opening and widening of those portions of Flower Street described above includes all those parcels of land situated in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, and particularly describe~ as follows, to-wit: Parcel No. 1. A portion of the following described parcel of land; The North 128 feet of the following described property; Beginning at a point on the North line of Lot i in Block "P" of the Heil Tract, as per map thereof recorded in Book 23, Page 28 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, said point being 1Z.5 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Lot l, running thence West along the North line of Lots i and 2 in said Block "P" 50 feet; thence South 270 feet through said LOt 2 and Lot 23 to a point on the South line of said LOt 23 which is 12.92 feet West of the Southeast
