The said City Council of the City of Santa Ana further declares that the following lands included within said Assessment District and belonging to the City of Santa Ana or the Santa Ana Board of Education, as hereinafter specified, shall be omitted from the said district and from the levy and collect ion of the special assessment taxes hereafter to be levie~ and collected to covel the expenses of the said acquisitions, and it is further determined that such lands are in use in the performance of a public function, which lands are particularly described as follows, to-wit: Exception No. 1. All that portion of the ~ater Works Tract as per map thereof on file in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 9, Page 27, Records of Orange County, California, which lies within the Assessment District. Exception No. 2. All that portion of the following described parcel of land which lies within~the Assessment District viz: A parcel of land bounded on the North by Eighth Street, on the West by Olive Street, on the South by Sixth Street and on the East by Flower Street. Exception No. 3. Lot 9, Block B, Chilton Tract as per map thereof on file in Book 34, Page 93, Miscellaneous Records of Les Angeles County, California. Exception No. 4. Lots i and 10, Block M, Ross Addition as per map thereof on file in Book 3, Pages 834 and 8~8, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California. Exception No. 8. The East S0 feet of Lots 8, 6, V and the East 80 feet of the North 81.30 feet ct LOt 8 of Morse Villa Tract as per map thereof on file in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 3, Page 46, Records of 0range County, California.
