203 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2300 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULT OF ELECTION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a general municipal election w~s held and conducted in the City of <br /> Santa Ana on Monday, the 13th day of April, 1931, as required by law.' <br /> <br /> AND, ~',~EREAS, it appears that notice of said election was duly and legally <br />given, that voting precincts were properly established, that election officers were <br />appointed and election supplies furnished, and that in all respects said election was <br />held and conducted and the votes cast thereat received and canvassed, and the returns <br />thereof, made and declared in time~ form and manner as required by the general laws of <br />the state governing elections in cities of the fifth and sixth class. <br /> <br /> AND, ~,~EREAS, the City Council of said City of Santa Ana met at the Council <br />Chmnber of the said Council on Monday, the 20th day of April, 1931, to canvass the <br />returns of said election and install the newly elected officers, as a result of which <br />the City Cou~cX1 finds that the nttmber of votes cast, the names of the persons voted <br /> <br />for, and other matters required by law, to be as hereinafter stated, now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br /> <br /> That said regular municipal election was held and conducted in the City of <br />Santa Ana on Monday, the 13th day of April, 1931, in time, form and manner as required <br />by law; <br /> <br /> That there were thirty-two (32) voting precincts established for the purpose <br />of holding said election, consisting of a consolidation of the regular election <br />precincts for holding general state and county elections as follows: <br /> <br /> Consolidated Voting ~recinct No. l, comprising State and County Precincts Nos. <br />I and 2; and the polling place thereof shall be at the Willard Junior High School <br />BuildXng, situated on North Main Street. <br /> <br /> .Consolidated Votin8 Precinct No. 2, comprising State and County Precincts Nos <br />3 and 49; and the polling place thereof shall be in the Y.M.C.A. Building, 205 Church <br /> <br />Street. <br /> <br /> Consolidated Voting Precinct No. 3, comprising State and County Precincts Nos. <br /> 47 and 48; and the polling place thereof shall be at the Chamber of Commerce Building, <br /> 609 North Broadway. <br /> <br /> Consolidated Voting Precinct No. 4, comprising State and County Precincts Nos <br /> 50 and 51; and the polling place thereof shall be at the Jefferson School Building on <br /> West Seventeenth Street between Broadway and Durant Streets. <br /> <br /> Consolidated Votin~ Precinct No. 5f comprising State and County Precincts Nos. <br />4 and 18; and the polling place thereof shall be aS the City Hall, corner of Third and <br />~ain Streets. <br /> <br /> ~onsolidated Voting Precinct No. 6~ comprising State and County Precincts Nos. <br /> 5 and 23; and the polling place thereof shall be at the Garage Building, on the South- <br /> east corner of Main a nd Myrtle Streets. <br /> <br /> Consolidated Votin~ Precinct No. V, comprising State and County Precincts Nos. <br />35 and 36; and the polling place thsreof shall be at the American Legion Hall on Birch <br />Street between Third and Fourbh Streets. <br /> <br /> ~onsolidated Voting Precinct No. 8,comprising State and County Precincts Nos. <br />33 and 34; and the polling place thereof shall be at the Shop Building of the Polytechnic <br />High School, situated on West Walnut Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
