RESOLLrTION NO. 2604 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SAL~ OF REAL PRO PERTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, said property consists in part of a narrow strip of land lying along and adjacent to the bed of the Santiago Creek, as the same passes through the City of Santa Ana, and said property is of no practical use except to the owner of the adjacent property, and WHEREAS, by a previous understanding and agreement ~ the time of the purpose and sale of other real property, this Council agreed that if and when the City acquired the same that it would be conveyed to the adjacent property owners, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has no use for said property for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the said City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed to the owner of the sd Jacent property~ NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor and City Clefs are hereby authorized and directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to the following described property to Evan Jones and Emily Jones, his wife, as Joint tenants, in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) in hand paid to the said City at the time of the execution hereof, and of considerations heretofore made and given to the City of Santa Aua. The said property is described as follows: That certain real property situate in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point in the center line of Main Street, in the City of Santa Ana, said point being South 0© 45' West 626.7 feet from the North- east c~'aer of Section l, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.&.M., ~unning thence South 89© 45t West, along the North line of that certain parcel of land described in deed from C.L.Slack and wife, to the County of Orange, recorded in Book 246, page 345, of Deeds, records of Orange County, California, a distance of 184.84 feet to a point; thence South 55© 33' 20" E., 26.36 feet to a point; thence North 89° 45' East, parallel with the North line of the above mentioned parcel conveyed by C.L.Slack and wife, to the County of Orange, a distance of 163.00 feet to a point in the center line of Main Street; thence North 0© 45' East along said center line, 15.00 feet to the point of beginning. Reserving from the above described property the East 45 feet thereof for street purposes, and other reservations of record.
