RESOLUTION NO. 2685 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL RF~L PROPERT~ BE IT RESOLVED By THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF S~TA ANA: THAT, '~EEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the ~ner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and, WHEREAS, the various parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Ana, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Aha, by deed and/or purchase frmm the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property shoul be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of S~nta Aha, and WHEREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership; N~, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said City Council to be held on the 5th day of September, 1939, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth immediately following the description of said parcels to the persons ~ho have offered i: writing to purchase the same at said price, u~less at said meeting the City Council shal receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in ezcess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor emd City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid The said property is described as follows: That certain real property situate in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange.
