294 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2689 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA CONSENTING TO THE SALE <br /> OF CERTAIN TAX-D~"~!!~ED PROPERTY WITHIN THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, BY THE COUNTY TAX <br /> C 0~ LECTOR. <br /> <br />BE IT RES0~VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> Wt~REAS, the hereinafter described real property has been sold to the <br />State of California for non-payment of taxes, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the taxes which are unpaid upon said real property have been <br />levied on behalf of, and if collected would be payable to, the City of Santa Ana <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange has received <br />an offer in the sum of $750.00 to purchase said real property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby <br />approve of and consent to the sale of said hereinafter described real property <br />by the said County Tax Collector, for said sum above mentioned, it being under- <br />sto6d that the proceeds from said sale will be divided proportionately among the <br />tax-levying bodies on behalf of which the said taxes were levied, and that the <br />City of Santa Aha will receive its proportionate share thereof, as the amount <br />of the taxes and penalties thereon which would be payable to the City of Santa <br />Ana, bears to the total amount of taxes and penalties for which the said propert <br />was sold to the State of California for non-payment of such taxes. The real <br />property herein referred to is described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> ALL that certain real property situate in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> Orange, State of California, more particularly described as follows, <br /> <br />County of <br />to-wit: <br /> <br />The East One Hundred Ten (E 110) ft. of the South <br />Forty-three (S. 43) ft. of Lot Four (4) and the <br />One Hundred Ten (E. llO) ft. of the North Seven <br />(N. V) ft. of Lob Three (3) of Block "B", Swanner's <br />Addition to the City of Santa Aua, as per map thereof <br />recorded in Book 5, pages 5 ~ud 6 of Miscellaneous <br />Maps, Records of Orange County, California. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA at a <br /> <br />regular meeting of said City Council held on the <br /> <br />E.
