RESOLUTION .N.O,. 2801 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOINT OUTFALL ADMINISTRATIVE COM~ETTEE TO PROCEED WITH WORK. Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha: WHEREAS, the Administrative Committee for the construction of the treatment plant for the Joint Outfall Sewer (as described in Resolution No. 2VS2 of this Board) have employed Koebig & Koebtg, Engineers, and have submitted a general plan of construction of such proposed treatment plant, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to proceed as rapidly as the financial ability of this City will permit, to construct andc omplete the said recommended plan. NOW THEEEFORE, the City Council does hereby approve in principle said general plan and report as submitted, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and The City Council does further direct said Administrative Committee to cause said Koebig & Koebig to prepare detailed plans and specifications for the same, and To cause the same to be so prepared as to permit bids to be received upon the construction of the "Clartfier", reconstruction and improvement of sludge beds and necessary equipment and appurtenances necessary for the operation thereof, separate and apart from bids for the doing of the balance of the work and construction included in said recorm~endation. Be it further resolved: that, as soon as possible, competitive bids be received and contract awarded for the construction of such clarifier and reconstruction of sludge beds with necessary equipment and appurtenances and that further detail study be given to the exact method of financiug the remaining units of the recommended plan so as to obtai~ Federal or State aid in the construction thereof, if pcssible~ and that the remaining units be commenced as soon as satisfactory details are determine and finances are available.
