RESOLUTION .N..0. 2818 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING E~ECUTION OF RENTAL <br /> CONTRACT WITH COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR DISPOSAL <br /> OF COUNTY HOSPITAL SEWAGE THROUGH JOINT 0UTFALL <br /> SEWER-FROM AND AFTER JAItUARY 1st, 1940. <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the City of Orange and the County of Orange have arrived at a <br />compromise settlement of a pending action for S~mages and an injunction ~rising <br />eut of the past alleged unauthorized use of the Joint 0utfall Sewer and City of <br />Orange lateral sewer pipeline, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as part of said settlement it has been proposed that the <br />County of Orange enter into a rental contract with the parties signatory to the <br />Joint 0utfal! Sewer agreement for use of said Joint 0utfall Sewer from and after <br />January 1st, 1940; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha as follows: <br /> <br /> That said City of Santa Aha does hereby approve and agree to the terms <br />of s aid rental contract with t he County of Orange, a copy of which is filed as <br />of this date in the office of the City Clerk, and by reference made part hereof, <br />and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTEER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are <br />herebya uthorized and directed to execute and deliver said contract on behalf <br />of said City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at <br />its regular meeting held c~ ~he l?th day of June, 1940. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />E.- L.
