¸19 RESOLUTION N0e ~8~6 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, ~ud WHEREAS, the various parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Ana, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Ana, by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or f-rom the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California~ under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WHEREAS~ the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council ~uat the s aid property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the s~me may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and WHEREAS~ an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownershipI NOW, T~EFORE~ the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 16th day of September, 1940, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth immediately following the descriptions of said parcels to the person who has offered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid~ in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting~ and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bide The said property is described as follows: Lots Five (5) and Six (6) in Block "I" of Tract No. 289........... $1V5.00 Lots 17~ 18~ 36~ 37~ 44, 45, 46, 47 and 48~ all in Block "I"~ of Tract No. 531 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 330.00 Lots 22 and 23 in Block G Tract No. 531 Lots 9, 10, 18 and 19 in Block J, Tract No. 531 Lots 9, 10~ 11 and 12 in Block I~ Tract No. 531 . . . . . . . . . 400.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of September, 1940e ATTEST: E.
