RESOLUTION NO. 2856 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROFERTY ~E IT RESOLVED BY 'I'M~' CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the various parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Ana, which said property has bee~ acquired by the City of Santa Ana, by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of 0rauge~ State of California, under the provdsions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WHERE~, the C~ty of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that. the said property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana, and WHEREAS~ an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 2nd day of December, 1940, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth immediately following the descriptions of said parcels to the person who has offered in writing to purchase the same at said prtce~ unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid. The said property is described as follows: Lot Sixteen (16)~ Block "E", Tract No. 597 . . . . . . . $100.00 Lots Twenty-nine (29) Thirty (30) and Thirty-one (31) in Block "F" and Lots Thirty-two (32) and Thirty- Three (33) in Block "E" of Tract No. 531 . . . . . . . 200.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of November, 1940.
