RESOLUTION FOR SALE OF REAL PROPERTY N0~ 2860 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has no use for said property or any there. of for public purposes and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana and in order that the regular development of city streets should be accomplished, and, WHEREAS, an offer has been made by Edson P. Kirtle, a single man, to purchase the hereinafter described property and to convey to the City of Santa Ana certain other property for street purposes in payment therefor and to accept certain other consideration for the balance of the purchase price of said property so conveyed to the City of Santa Aha for street purposes, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to the best advantage of the City of Santa Ana that said property be sold and exchanged for certain other property to be conveyed to the City of Santa Ana and that certain additional consideration be paid for ~aid other property to be so conveyed to the City of Santa Ana. The said property so to be sold and exchanged is described as follows: BeginninK at a point in the South line of the North one- half~(N~ of the South one-half (S~) of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of the Southeast quarter ~SE~) of Section 24, Township § South~ Range 10 West, S.B.~.&.M,, which bears North 89° 20' 3V" West a distance of 303.42 feet from the Southeast corner thereof; running thence from said point of beginning North 67° 26~ 45" West, 168.26 feet to a curve tangent, concave to the Northeast and having a radius of 346 feet; running thence North- westerly along said curve through a central angle of 210.29~ 3V" and an arc length of 129.80 feet to a point tangent to a curve, concave to the Southeast and having a radius of l0 feet; running thence Northwesterly and Southwesterl[ along said curve through a central angle of 133~ 29~. 17" and an arc length of 23.30 feet to a point,.which point is 45 feet East of the South- erly extension of the center line of Broadway as shown .on map of Tract No. 597, Harbor Boulevard Park recorded in Book 19~ page V of Miscellaneous Maps~ records of said Orange County; running thence South 0° 33' 35" West along a line drawn parallel to and 45 feet East of the Southerly extension of the center line of said Broadway a distance of 124.32 feet to a point in the~ South line of the hereinabove described parcel of land; running thence South 89o 20' 37" East along the South line of the hereinabove described parcel of land a dis- tance of 279.§? fe~t to the point of beginning. Reserving a right of way 10 feet wide through said property for sanitary sewer as conveyed by Pedro Mata and wife to City of Santa Aha by deed recorded March 1927 in Book 25, page ~377 of Official Records. Also reserving an easement to construct an underground pipe drain on a strip of land 5 feet wide through said property adjoining the above described l0 foot right of way on the West and extending to the North line of said property. NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor .and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute a deed to ~he property above described to Edson P. Kittle~ a single man, upon receipt by the City of Santa Aha of a deed to that certain real property constituting an extension of South Broadway Southeasterly from Auahurst Place to South Main Street. .
