RESOLUTION FOR SAIE OF REAL PROPERTY NO. 2861 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Santa Ana: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana and in order that the regular development of city stroets should be accomplished, and WHEREAS, an offer has been made by Chas. E. Lawrence and Carrie Lawrence husband and wife, to purchase the hereinafter described property and to convey to the City of Santa Ana certain other property for street purposes in payment therefor and to accept certain other consideration for the balance of the purchase price of said property and so conveyed to the City of Santa Aha for street purposes, WHEREAS, the City Council d~ms it to the best advantage of the City of Santa Ana that said property be sold and e~changed for certain other property to be conveyed to the City of Santa Ana and that certain additional consideration be paid for said other property to be so conveyed to the City of Santa Ana. The said property so to be sold and exchanged is described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly line of Broadway~ which point bears North 67° 26' 45" West, 10.78 feet from a point which bears North 0° 33~ 15" East, parallel with the East line of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of Section 24~ Township 5 South, Range l0 West, S.B.B.&.M., 10.S6 feet from a point on the South line of the North half (N~) of the South half (S~) of the Southeast quarter (SE¼) of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of said Section 24~ which point bears North 89° 20~ 3V" West 83 feet from the Southeast corner of said North half (N~2) of the South half running thence from said point of beginning North0° 33' 15" East along a line drawn pa~'allel to the East line of said Section 24, a distance of 123.67 feet to a point on the North line of the South 138.25 feet of said North half (N½) of the South half (S~) of the Southeast quarter · (SE~) of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of said Section 24, running thence North 89° 20~ 37" West along a line drawn parallel to the South line of the hereinabove described parcel of land a distance of 30V.45 feet to an inters.c- tion with the Northeasterly line of Broadway; thence South 67° 26' 45" East a distance of 331.58 feet to the point of beginning. Reserving a right of way for sanitary sewer as conveyed by Pedro Mata and wife to City of Santa Ana by deed recorded March 2nd, 1927 in Book 25, page 377 of Official Records. Also all right, title and interest in and to that portion of the North 60 feet of the South 198.25 feet of the North half (N~) of the South half (S~) of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of Section 24, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, S~.D.&.M., and which lies East of the Northeasterly line of Broadway as extended Southeasterly from the Southerly line of Anahurst Place to the East line of Main Street. Reserving a right of way for sanitary sewer across said 60 foot strip as conveyed to the City of Santa Aha by deed executed by Alfred Warren et al recorded March 21st, 1927 in Book 27, page 227 of Official Records. NOW, THEREFORE~ the Mayor mld City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute a deed ~o the property above described to Chas. E. Lawrence and Carrie Lawrence, husband and wife, upon receipt by the City of Santa Ana of a deed to that certain re~l property constituting an extension of South Broadway
